(from Wikipedia) SAS (Statistical Analysis System) is a software suite developed by SAS Institute for advanced analytics,multivariate analyses, business intelligence, data management, and predictive analytics.
What is available?
The University has subscribed to the Education Analytic Suite via an Eduserv CHEST agreement. This is described as the ‘most commonly used’ applications. Full details can be found on the CHEST website. The University has not taken up any of the options.
The agreement also includes both the Enterprise Miner and Text Miner extensions but these are licensed for the Henley Business School only.
Who can have it?
Academic use on or off campus by staff and students.
How can I get it?

- Request install to University Computer from DTS Service Desk
- Request media/keys from the DTS Service Desk
What support/training is available?
- SAS provide a training website
- SAS Joint Certificate Programme (Academic/teaching staff)
When does the license/agreement run till?
- License is renewed annually from 1st August. The current agreement runs until 31/07/2026. A decision to renew will be taken in good time.
