What is it?

Minitab is a statistics package, best described by its tag-line as “powerful statistical software everyone can use.” It is further claimed “Minitab has all the tools you need to effectively analyse your data. By guiding you to the right analysis and giving you clear results, Minitab helps you find meaningful solutions to your toughest business problems.”

What is available?

The University has subscribed to an annual site license for Minitab.

Who can have it?

Academic use on and off campus by staff and students.

How can I get it?

In order to use Minitab you will need to register for access. This can be done via a form on the the DTS Self Service Portal. Please follow: Place a DTS Request > Request Software > Site Licensed Software > Minitab to do this. Activation may take one working day.

Once registered you can use Minitab:

• Live from Apps Anywhere
• In PC Labs
• Request install to University Computer from IT Service Desk
• Request Media from DTS Service Desk for personal/home use

You can also use the Online version of Minitab at https://app.minitab.com.

What support/training is available?
