Glad you have found the Software Store. Here you can find information about a range of software packages which the University subscribes to or which are provided free to you as a student. You can also get live access to software packages included here, as well as many more, via Apps Anywhere. Currently this is just for on-campus use but soon we hope to expand this to wherever you are – Anywhere indeed!

Buying Adobe, Microsoft Project and Visio for University computers
While Microsoft Project and Visio are free to students and staff in STEM subjects under Microsoft Imagine, University departments outside of STEM or wishing to run the software to help manage operations, need to purchase a licence. IT have standardised the options for obtaining the appropriate application, either as a perpetual licence or a subscription. Details of this, along with how to purchase Adobe licences for University use, have been added to the Software Store and appear under a new section ‘Software to purchase for University owned computers’.
Adobe Software Purchasing
Adobe software is NOT available free of charge to either students or staff, however there are various programmes available to get Creative Cloud subscriptions at reduced cost. Staff should purchase both Creative Cloud and Perpetual Adobe Acrobat licenses through IT. Details are provided on the Adobe page.
The Software Store has opened
Welcome to the Software Store. This is a new website dedicated to providing information on obtaining software to support your study and academic enquiry. See the ‘about‘ page for more information. These pages will largely replace web documentation for software but relevant help and support will continue to be provided via our IT Service Desk and KnowledgeBase.
