SPSS and Amos

What is it?

(from Wikipedia) SPSS Statistics is a software package used for statistical analysis. The software name originally stood for Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), reflecting the original market, although the software is now popular in other fields as well, including the health sciences and marketing.

AMOS is a stand-alone package supporting structural equation modelling. It can be run separately from SPSS.

What is available?

IBM SPSS Statistics Premium and AMOS.

Who can have it?

Academic use on or off campus by staff and registered students.

How can I get it?

  • SPSS – Live from Apps Anywhere
  • Request install of SPSS / AMOS to University Computer from DTS Service Desk
  • Request media/keys from the DTS Service Desk

If you request keys for installation on your own equipment, you will be asked to agree to the terms in the SPSS-AMOS Copyright Acknowledgement form.
